Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a national provider across Residential and Supported Living care, who offer support to individuals with complex mental health conditions and learning disabilities, to recruit for a Registered Manager to oversee their Supported-Living branches across Seaham in County Durham. The services supports adults with profound learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including behaviours that challenge. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a multi-site management position, with exposure to complex needs.

The Candidate
As the Registered Manager, you will be reporting into the Regional Director, and you will have overall responsibility for managing the supported-living services, who support adults with complex needs including learning disabilities and autism. As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service and work closely alongside the Service Managers who will report directly into you. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Regional Director, where together you will ensure the service users receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, and you will also be required to have strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in Leadership and Management – ESSENTIAL
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management – DESIRABLE
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a multi-site setting
  • Background of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Knowledge of the CQC / KLOES / regulations
  • Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
  • Clear DBS

Location
This role is based in Seaham, County Durham and is commutable from Sunderland, New Herrington, Peterlee, Dalton-le-Dale and Durham.

Interview Process
The interview process involves an informal call and then a formal face-to-Face interview with the Regional Manager and another member of the SMT.
