Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established provider who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking for a step-up in their career, for a Service Manager to oversee and support a number of their Supported-Living services supporting individuals with learning disabilities and other associated needs.

The Position /Candidate
The Service Manager will assist the Registered Manager with ensuring quality of care delivered across all the Supported Living services, whilst supporting the staff and service users in a way that reflects their wishes and needs of the people being supported with consistent individual support plans. You will be responsible for managing staff allocations, recruitment, auditing, and reviewing/ updating care plans whilst attending and providing supervisions for staff teams.
My client is looking for someone with previous management experience in either a Residential or Supported Living setting, with experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by people with learning disabilities and an enthusiasm for working and supporting them to take control of their lives in a Supported Living Environment.

Salary and Benefits
A salary of £32'500 per annum, with many benefits including:

Criteria

  • Previous management experience within either residential or supported living setting
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex needs
  • Clear understanding of CQC standards
  • Must have a driving licence and access to a car

Location
This position is based in Manchester Central and is commutable from Stockport, Rochdale, Wythenshawe, Trafford, Wigan, and Bolton.

Interview Process
2 stages – 1st stage is an informal conversation with the Operations Manager and the 2nd stage is a formal interview with the Operations Manager and another senior member of management.
