Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Adult Mental Health Hospital
Salary: £44,170 – £46,613
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm)

Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to be working with a private mental health hospital based in East London which is renowned for delivering specialised, evidence-based treatments across various mental health diagnosis. Together we are looking for an Occupational Therapist for one of their units specialising in complex needs of individuals with personality disorders, offering a structured care pathway to support their recovery journey.
As the Senior Occupational Therapist, you will autonomously manage a caseload of adults diagnosed with Tier 4 Personality Disorder. Utilising your clinical expertise, you will assess, implement, and evaluate care, working alongside a Band 5 OT and OTA. Regular supervisions and reflective practices with the Head of Occupational Therapy will ensure your continuous professional development. Additionally, you will maintain links with professionals working in the same specialisation regionally and nationally.
Essential Requirements:
– Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
– Active UK HCPC registration in Occupational Therapy
– Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified OT
– Experience working within mental health / willingness to specialise in this area
– Familiarity with DBT or willingness to undergo training

Interview Process:
1 stage interview process – Formal MS Teams or Face to Face interview with the Head of Occupational Therapy and 1 member of the SMT.
