We are working with a reputable small sized care provider who operate a portfolio of care homes within the north west of England, providing long-term, short-term and respite care within nursing, residential and dementia care settings.
My client is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Qualified Home Manager with exposure to managing an Complex nursing home. This opportunity is to oversee the running of a large sized nursing, residential and dementia care home for residents. The home currently requires some turnaround due to recent events. Staffing levels are high with low agency usage, but a staff culture shift is needed to ensure morale within the home is improved. As well as this, occupancy within the home requires some improvement due to a number of empty beds within the service.
The Candidate
It is essential that the suitable candidate is Nurse Qualified and has extensive knowledge of turning around or maintaining high standards of a care home previously. It is important that the Home Manager is caring and has a great personality to fit in well with the team, as well as having excellent organisational skills and be able to work off their own initiative to improve the standards within the home.
My client is seeking a Home Manager who has a keen eye for providing high quality care and can encourage staff to provide excellent person-centred care to all residents. They will need to empower the staff team to aid in increasing morale, as well as continue building strong relationships with external bodies to help ensure the home achieves ‘Good’ ratings in future CQC inspections that take place.
Location
This role is based in Oldham, and is commutable from Manchester, Blackburn, Stockport, Huddersfield and Bolton.
