We are proud to be working with an expanding, reputable care provider with a portfolio of care homes across England, providing long-term, short-term & respite care within nursing, residential and dementia care settings.

My client is seeking a skilled Home Manager with experience of turning around/maintaining high standards within a care home providing nursing and dementia care. Due to unfortunate recent events, the home requires turnaround to get back up to more favourable standings. Occupancy of the home remains high and benefits from a dedicated and passionate care team. A key area of focus will be to boost quality in line with CQC standards to ensure primary care is given.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must have experience within turnaround or maintain high care standards, have Home Management experience within an elderly care home and be able to evidence the previous successful running of a care home providing nursing and dementia care.

The candidate must be able to evidence positive CQC reports within previous roles, as well as provide experience of increasing occupancy within a care home or keeping occupancy at a high and stable level. The Home Manager must be able to encourage and support the staffing team to provide excellent care and meet the requirements set out by the provider and CQC.

This role is based on the Wirral, and is commutable from the Birkenhead, West Kirkby, Ellesmere Port, Chester and Liverpool

Interview Process

The interview process will be 2 stages.

Stage one: Teams Call with Director

Stage two: Face-to-face interview/Walk around the home


My client is seeking an dedicated and experienced Home Manager with experience of turning around/maintaining high standards within a care home. The successful candidate will be required to oversee the day-to-day running of the care home and improve the standings of the home to ensure positive rating from future inspections. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £50k per annum.
