Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for a Director of Nursing for their skilled nursing facility on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee.
This role would suit a qualified registered nurse, that is passionate about care and has experience of managing in a medium to large community. You will be required to focus on providing high-quality care in line with Tennessee state and Medicare regulations, supporting/developing the well-established team you are leading, under the guidance of the LNHA.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have a registered nursing license in the state of Tennessee. While having experience of managing a nursing team within a senior care community, as either a director of nursing or assistant director of nursing. Along with a good understanding of Tennessee state regulations within senior care.
The candidate will ideally have several years leadership experience and provide evidence that they have the capability to manage the clinical operations of a skilled nursing facility. The position requires a manager who can motivate a staff team, while ensuring that first class care is always delivered and understands the expectations of working within a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Requirements
Registered nurse (RN) within the state of Tennessee
3+ years experience of nursing leadership
Experience as a DON or ADON
History of managing a clinical team within a SNF
Experience with private, medicare & medicaid residents
Knowledge on Tennessee senior care state regulations
Location
The facility is based on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee and is commutable from Hermitage, Bellevue, Hendersonville, Hartsville, Franklin and surrounding area's.
