Do you want to oversee one of the most sophisticated veterinary practices in Cornwall?
Remit

We are delighted to be working with a friendly, small animal practice near Redruth in Cornall to support them on a search for a new Veterinary Surgeon to take charge of the clinical case load.

You will work alongside out Senior Leadership Team to elevate the clincs' presence in the local community and drive the business forwards. You will be fully supported by the team on the business and operations side of things and be the clear leader when it comes to the clinical case load. You should be confident performing circa 15 minute consultations and be able to perform, and support new graduates on routine operations. If you have a specific interest we can tailor your case load to your skill set and have you lean towards your own doctrine.

You will be fully supported to develop in your own role by a team of veterinary professionals. Our nursing team has over 5 decades of experience amongst them and are enthusastic to develop themselves. We are looking to keep growing due to consistent commercial success so if you have other Vets that would join you as you lead the team, we are happy to negotiate with them as well.

This is a permanent role covering 40 hours a week. Part time applicants will also be considered. There is a requirement to join the weekends rota which is limited.

Requirements

– RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
– Confident in small animal surgery and consultations
– Ability to lead a team
– Post Graduate certificate is desired

Location

Situated in a lovely, small town in Cornwall. We are easily commutable from Truro, Redruth, Camborne, Falmouth, Penzance and St Ives.
