Compass Associates are working in partnership with a private surgical hospital in Darlington in their search of a Senior Registered Nurse to join their wards department on a full time permanent basis. The hospital is part of a leading independent provider with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics and so there is plenty of opportunity for career progression and development!
The hospital covers a wide range of specialties including orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynaecology, dermatology, general surgery, vascular and complex surgery to name a few.
The Candidate / Position
As Senior Nurse, you'll join an experienced team providing post-operative care to patients who have undergone surgery on the hospital ward. You will be required to administer prescribed medications as and when required, change dressings and answer any questions patients have about their care.
This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week across a fully flexible shift pattern which to support a positive work / life balance for all staff however, please do note that nights days and weekends will be required. The rota is provided 2 months in advance giving you plenty of notice.
Requirements
– Registered nurse with NMC registration
– NHS or private hospital experience
– Good interpersonal and communication skills
– Passion for high quality patient safety and care
Salary & Benefits
For this role, the salary is up to £37,500 per annum dependant on experience so is a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse who has a keen interest in surgical care!
