Compass Associates are excited to partner with a pioneering diagnostic company to assist in the search for a Clinical Skills and Quality Trainer to join their team. This company is widely recognised for providing the highest quality imaging services across the UK and valuing staff welfare.

The company are on a very exciting trajectory, with acquisitions already being completed this calendar year and further vast growth plans currently being carried out, this is a great time to join the company in a role that has scope to grow in line with the business.

The Position

You will be a registered clinician with an interest / passion in training people and a desire to develop in the area. In this role, you will be carrying out training to both clinical and non-clinical staff in areas such as cannulation, basic life support, manual handling and general clinical training. You will also carry out quality reviews.

Reporting to the Chief Quality and Risk Officer, you will implement various training methods and ensure that learning is appropriate to the individual / team to ensure learning is maximised. You will act as support and advice for clinical teams to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to carry out their role.

In this role, you will be working for two days per week out of the head office (Manchester area), where you will plan training and perform inductions and quality reviews etc. You will then work from this companies clinical sites on your other 3 days – all expenses paid for and you will receive car allowance as part of your salary.

Ideally, you will already be an experienced clinical trainer / moving and handling trainer, however this is not essential as the company are willing to invest in anybody with the desire to achieve required qualifications such as Train The Trainer (TTT). Full training will be provided, so if you have reservations around sector knowledge etc, please do not hesitate to proceed.

Minimum Requirements

– A professional and experienced healthcare professional with a valid professional registration (NMC, HCPC)
– Understanding of current clinical practices through evidence based CPD and revalidation.
– Strong writing skills and confidence to deliver training via various methods -face to face & virtual.
– Effective leadership and good interpersonal skills.
– Excellent organisational, report writing, communication and presentation skills.
– Relevant qualification, willing to attend education to achieve TTT qualifications
– A full, valid driving licence is essential.

Desirable Requirements

– Previous experience working as a Clinical / Quality Trainer
