Overview
Compass Associates are currently working with one of the UK's leading national providers within the Adult Social Care market providing Residential and Supported Living services across the UK to headhunt for a Registered Manager to overlook the management of a Residential Service within Gosport offering care to service users with Learning Disabilities alongside Autism.

As the Registered Manager, you will have the chance to develop and improve the service with particular focus on quality assurance and accurate reporting of data. Working with the establish team, you will have the chance to provide exemplary leadership and make a difference to the service users' lives.

Location
The service is located in the town of Gosport, which is only a short drive from Portsmouth and easily commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, and Chichester, and it has some excellent transportation links, including being a short distance away from the Gosport ferry terminal, making the service even more accessible to candidates in the Portsmouth area, and numerous bus services passing through the service.

Criteria

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management / RMA or equivalent
  • Experience as a Manager in a similar setting
  • Deputy Managers wanting to step up welcome to apply
  • Background of working with Adult Learning Disabilities
  • Good people management skills
  • Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission standards
  • A role model, providing exemplary support and advice to promote good practice
  • Exceptional communicator, team player, empathetic and excellent people skills
  • Clear DBS / CRB
