We are working with a Small Animals, first opinion practice in Cambridgeshire to help find them a new Veterinary Surgeon to lead their team. We are a large, constantly growing and friendly team who are looking to expand our horizons.

This is a bright and modern practice covering a wealth of different animals and conditions. Services include: Acupuncture, Anaesthesia, Dentistry, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency and Critical Care, Hydrotherapy, Medicine, Ophthalmology and both ortho and soft tissue surgery. We also boast a new, top of the range, ultrasound machine to make diagnostics even easier.

As the Lead Surgeon, you should be confident in all areas of first opinion treatments and be happy with the prospect of training and developing junior Vets. If you are particularly interested in a certain doctrine, we are happy to have the role shape around your experience. A strong business acumen is also desired as you will work closely with the Clinical Director to shape the growth of the practice.

This is a full time, permanent position but we can offer a flexible shift pattern. If you are interested in a part time role, we can still discuss what hours you'd be able to work.

We are based in beautiful Cambridgeshire and commutable from Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bury St Edmunds, Biggleswade, Haverhill, Newmarket and surrounding areas.

What qualifications do I need?

We are looking for a surgeon who is RCVS accredited and is a confident all rounder. Previous managerial experience is also desired but not essential.
