Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a state of the art small animals clinic in Hertford to help find them a new Head RVN to lead and develop their growing team.
The clinic is built on purpose built premises with separate wards for cats and dogs and an isolation unit. We have ultrasound, digital xray, in house laboratory with microscope, capnography with pulse oximetry and a theatre dedicated to sterile procedures. As the Head nurse, you should be confident in all areas of general, first opinion practice and confident to help train our students and future, junior team members. You will also weigh in on business development alongside the Clinical Director and practice manager.
We are a small team of just under 1 dozen, all dedicated to creating a better world for animals and love to organise team days out. We have a non-nonsene approach to disputes amongst the team and do not care for 'office politics'. As a HRVN, you will be the 'go to nurse' for all clinical queries amongst the nursing team.
Very good work- life balance, 40 hour week with minimal delay after shifts due to using an out of hours centre. No Out of Hours. 1:3 Saturdays with time off in lieu..

This clinic is based in Hertford, just North of London. Commutable from Hatfield, Harlow, Stevenage, Bishops Stortford, Potters Bar, Epping and all surrounding areas.
