Do you want to manage one of the most renowned hospitals in Yorkshire?

We are partnering with a large veterinary hospital near Sheffield, South Yorkshire to recruit a new permanent Vet to take on the challenge of being their new Clinical Director. This is a permanent role covering 40 hours per week with 1 in 7 weekends (TOIL applies)

The hospital itself is a cat friendly clinic and sees an incredible variety of first opinion and referral cases. We boast a variety of diagnostic equipment; multiple, spacious consult rooms, 2 large operating theatres; separate dental rooms and extensive wards space. Our team consists of 1 dozen vets, including visiting surgeons, 11 RVNs and a fully staffed set of support staff. A variety of our Vets are certificate holders or are working towards them and we encourage our new Clinical Director to take advantage of the support we would give to any member of staff looking to complete CPD.

Your role as a Clinical Director will consist of both clinical and non-clinical responsibilities. You will work alongside the other Surgeons providing excellent clinical standards within diagnostics, consultations and surgery. You will also work alongside the Practice Manager and Nursing Manager to lead the team and direct the practice to meet KPIs and commercial targets. You would also work closely with our area director to grow the hospitals presence in the sector and elevate above the competition.

Candidate Specification:

– 5 + years post registration
– Previous management experience desired
– Certificate holder desired but not essential
– Ability to lead and motivate a team

Remuneration:
