What is your role and how long have you worked at Compass?
I am now a Divisional Manager and have been with Compass for just over 4 years. I also manage a team of five consultants.

Elderly & dementia residential care homes – recruiting for Home Manager positions and more senior requirements
Advice for job seekers
As much as figuring out what you would like from your next position, take time to consider the elements you don’t like and what puts you off (or has done previously). Always do your research too – you don’t need to know ‘everything’ about a role / provider, but show an interest, ask questions and ensure you immerse yourself in any meetings and interviews.
Current changes you foresee within the sector?
My sector has already become much more ‘candidate led’ and for the time being at least, I’d expect to see that continue, but as with most things, this does go in cycles due to other economic factors.

Meeting my targets within 3 consecutive years and becoming a ‘go-to’ recruiter within my sector.
A bit about you outside of work
I’m a big football fan and I’m getting the chance to re-live some of my former glories as my youngest daughter is starting to show a real interest too! So my non-work time is spent with my family at either gymnastics, football or off making weird and wonderful memories with them – we’ve been on a number of adventures and will go on many more! Life is for living!
