Full Time Permanent Position – 37.5 hours per week

Compass Associates are working with a private surgical hospital in Stirling in their pursuit of a Theatre Practitioner to join them on a full time permanent basis specialising in anaesthetics and recovery. The hospital covers a wide range of specialties including orthopaedics, cosmetics cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, ENT and general surgery to name a few.

They have two operating theatres, a comprehensive diagnostic imaging department, ophthalmic diagnostic room as well as four consulting rooms, a minor procedure room and a full physiotherapy suite.

The Role
As Theatre Practitioner you will be working within the anaesthetics department helping and supporting patients before surgery. You will prepare a range of specialist equipment and drugs including anaesthetic machines, intravenous equipment and devices that safely secure the patients airway during surgery.

This is a full time position working 37.5 hour per week and full flexibility is required as there will be some weekend work.

Requirements

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC and HCPC registration
  • 12 months experience working in a theatre settings
  • Previous experience working in anaesthetics and recovery
