Are you a Registered Nurse with an interest in surgical nursing?
An opportunity has arisen to join a high-reputable private surgical hospital in Bolton.
You will be joining a well-established team within a hospital treating both NHS and private patients across a range of surgical procedures including: ENT, general surgery, orthopaedics, plastics and bariatric.
Your caseload of work will be varied each day allowing you to upskill and gain exposure to new clinical circumstances at an accelerated rate.
About You:
- Previous experience caring for patients post-operatively is desirable.
- NMC registration
- Empathetic, approachable manner
- Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team
Job Duties Include:
- Caring for patients pre and post operatively across a range of surgery types
- To display a consistently professional manner, and to be always caring and approachable.
- To commence and participate in research/special projects/ audit as directed by the team lead
- To contribute to the setting, maintaining and monitoring of pre-operative assessment modernisation standards within the unit
- To have responsibility for the security and maintenance of equipment belonging to the unit
- To communicate clearly, effectively and politely with all levels of the multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and other departments
- To ensure that privacy and dignity of patients is paramount and is not compromised
