Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established charity who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager looking for a change in their career, for a Registered Manager position to oversee and support their Residential services based in Grimsby supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.

The Position /Candidate
As the Registered Manager, you will be reporting into the Operations Manager, and you will have overall responsibility for managing the Residential service who support adults with complex learning disabilities and autism. You will be responsible for all aspects of the resident's care, providing management to the staff team to ensure the provision of a high standard of appropriate support and the effective delivery of quality services. You will work within the charity's Business Plan and performance measures ensuring that staff and services are properly and effectively managed and supported to a high standard.
My client is looking for someone with previous management experience in either a Residential or Supported Living setting, with experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by people with learning disabilities and an enthusiasm for working and supporting them to take control of their lives.

Criteria

  • Previous management experience within either residential or supported living setting
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex needs
  • NVQ Level 3 is essential
  • Clear understanding of CQC standards
  • Must have a driving licence and access to a car

Location
This position is based in Grimsby and is commutable from Cleethorpes, Laceby, Caistor, Broughton, Hemswell Cliff, Barton upon Humber, Louth, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough.

Interview Process
2 stages – 1st stage is a Teams call with the Operations Manager and the 2nd stage is a formal interview with the Operations Manager and Head of Care.
