The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be partnering with a leading care provider operating an expanding portfolio of care homes across the United Kingdom. The business is seeking a seasoned operator to join their team as Home Manager for a highly reputable care home with opportunity for future development.
This role will join a luxury care service catering to varied needs such as nursing, residential and dementia care. The home itself was created to offer the utmost quality to each resident, benefiting from a library, cinema room and scenic views to enhance the homely experience. Internally, there is a strong staffing structure to support the Home Manager, inclusive of a Deputy Manager.
Staff are motivated and keen to collaborate; therefore, the home would benefit from a visible, hands-on manager who will bring along their own ideas to continually drive the home forward. With a great template for care already, it is a great opportunity for an experienced manager who is looking to spearhead a settled care home.
The Candidate
The successful manager will be nurse qualified (RMN / RGN / RNLD) with a track record of successful management through Care Inspectorate ratings and Carehome.co.uk feedback. Ideally, you’ll have experience of driving occupancy and attention to detail around compliance.
To be considered for the role, you’ll be an existing Clinical Manager able to forge strong relationships with staff, external stakeholders, residents, and their families. You’ll understand the commercial side of management but emphasize robust person-centered care for residents and foster the wider ethos of the group.
Interview Process
The interview process will be 2 stages.
1st Stage: Interview with Regional Director & Regional Support Manager
2nd Stage: Interview with Divisional Director & HR Business Partner

The role is commutable from: Ayr, Troon, Kilmarnock, Cumnock, Alloway, Irvine, Saltcoats, Mauchline, Lagg, Galston, Loans, Stewarton and Culroy.
Summary
My client is seeking a Nurse Qualified Home Manager with experience of successfully running a private funded care home, where the successful candidate can oversee the day-to-day management of the home and ensure the service continues to flourish. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £60k – £65k per annum + 40% bonus.
