Overview:
Compass Associates are working with a valued client and private Hospital provider in Benenden. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the leading Clinicians in Kent. This Hospital has been rated as Outstanding by the CQC. It holds JAG accreditation for Endoscopy and ACSA accreditation for anaesthetics.
We are currently recruiting for a Decontamination Services Manager responsible or the operational day to day management of the Decontamination Service contributing to the safe and effective clinical care of patients.
You will be required to apply professional judgement and be a sound reference point for decontamination processes and support the Service Manager for Theatres & DS, to provide a high quality and timely service including support for planning activity and improvements to the service.
This role is a permanent contract working full time 37.5 hours/ 5 days a week Monday to Saturday.
Candidate Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the decontamination of reusable medical devices.
– Expert knowledge in line with current decontamination legislation, standards, assurance and guidance.
– Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
– City in Guilds in Management of Decontamination Process for Reusable Medical Devices and City in Guilds in Management of Flexible Endoscope Decontamination or willingness to undertake qualifications.
– Experience in managing & leading a team.
– Excellent verbal and written communication using tact and diplomacy.
– Strong prioritisation skills.
– Adaptable and flexible, with ability to work under pressure and progress priorities/competing demands.
– Preparation and presentation experience, including of performance, data & reports.

Location:
This job role will be in Benenden, and commutable from Tonbridge Wells, Crowborough, Ashford, Aylesford, Sevenoaks and Greater Kent area.
