Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a specialist ophthalmic provider with services through Tameside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Yorkshire. Due to very exciting growth and expansion plans, they now have an opportunity for an experienced Ophthalmic Nurse Practitioner to join them in capacity of Clinical Lead.
As Clinical Lead, you will be an experienced AMD Specialist Nurse with additional duties such as the management of the nursing staff, supervisions, training and supporting with the growth of the services
You will report directly into the Head of Nursing and will be expected to travel throughout the North West and Yorkshire to both static sites and mobile units to ensure that the services are running smoothly.
The services include all ophthalmic surgeries including;
– Cataract surgery
– Glaucoma treatment
– Laser treatment
– Age-related Macular Degeneration
– YAG laser capsulotomy
– Medical retinal procedures
Requirements
- RGN qualified with active NMC Pin number
- Previous experience working in a supervisory capacity with oversight of a small team
- Proficient and qualified in AMD injections
- Flexible and able to travel throughout the North West and Yorkshire
