What is your role and how long have you worked at Compass?

I’m a Divisional Manager overseeing five recruitment consultants across our Elderly Care division. I’ve worked at Compass for over four years now.

What markets do you cover?

My primary focus is the Elderly Interim Market where I cover everything from Deputy/Home Management, Quality, Operations and Senior Management. I also help support independent and smaller care providers with permanent management vacancies.

Advice for job seekers

Everyone knows everyone in the Care sector so it is important to be well networked or to utilise the network of an experienced recruiter to get a head start on potential vacancies opening in the sector.

Current changes you foresee within the sector?

With CQC releasing information on the proposed framework changes, I have found that there has been an increasing demand for interim consultants to help prepare care providers for once these come into play.
