With lockdown restrictions having finally eased, Compass Associates were finally able to get the whole business together for an End of Quarter celebration. The Compass Associates’ Directors decided to reward employees with a day out at the Qatar Goodwood Festival following the recent announcement of record results.

Goodwood is our first End of Quarter event in 18 months!

All Compass Associates teams and brand partners have seen a fantastic start to the first quarter of the financial year and it was a great opportunity to celebrate this and also get all employees together to celebrate. Glorious Goodwood was the perfect opportunity to celebrate this, especially with the last End of Quarter being over 18 months ago!

Both the Manchester and London offices came down to join the Portsmouth Office for the Goodwood Festival. This was the first time that the team had attended a Goodwood event since a previous End of Quarter in 2018.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as good as we had hoped. However, it didn’t dampen our spirits! The horses were still able to race, we were fortunate enough to have been placed in an indoor marquee and were provided with excellent waiting service, and food and drinks.

While there was plenty of rain and wind, the day brightened up and allowed many of the team to enjoy watching the races outside in the sunshine. Plenty of the team decided to take their chance with winning some money – some had more success than others but it’s all part of the fun.

The Festival was enjoyed by all regardless of how long they had been at Compass. End of Quarter events, such as Goodwood, provide great opportunities for the wider team to get to know each other and create real bonds. This is something that we actively encourage at Compass to ensure that our colleagues enjoy both the culture and their work.
