Compass Associates’ interim practice were engaged in their services by a Housing Association who had an urgent requirement for an Interim Director of Care & Support.
Having previously recruited directly a maternity cover, the Housing Association approached the team following a recommendation for prospective recruiters who could fulfil their requirement of an interim candidate covering a senior position within care and support services for the business. Having previously used Compass Associates’ permanent division, as well as the strong account the interim team provided of themselves, the urgent role was awarded to the team.
The brief included having an established track record operating within an Operations Director capacity on an interim basis, and would be hands-on, visible within the business, and be a strong physical presence in the homes to support the staff. In addition to this, experience within both an elderly care, and learning disabilities environments, had line managed in the region of 500 people, and would be comfortable reporting to the Board.
Six CV’s were submitted for consideration, of whom four were interviewed across two-stages – both video – during a two-week recruitment process. The successfully identified candidate was offered, accepted first time, and had started in less than 4 weeks from the original start of the process.
