Compass Associates are proud to be working with a Leading Private Hospital, located in Central London, who are currently in search for a Sister/Charge Nurse to join their Neurological Rehabilitation team. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, this hospital has the largest private rehabilitation centre in the London. They provide bespoke care for rehab patients including complex neurological injuries such as Stroke, Head Injuries and Spinal Cord Injuries.
Over the past year, there has been exciting growth within the Neuro Rehab department, so this role is ideal for someone who can bring new and exciting ideas, with a passion for developing others. This Hospital is recognised for their personalised care delivered at the highest standard, combined with their continued investment in the latest technology.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Ward Managers and Matron to deliver high quality care, providing expert knowledge to junior staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You will need to have previous senior or leadership experience, specifically working within a neuro rehab setting, and have proven experience of managing a large team.
This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will include days, nights and weekends. The Matron is happy to go through full shift details within the interview and there will be a level of flexibility for the right candidate.
You will initially start with an equal split of clinical and managerial duties while you settle into your role and understand their way of working and processes, which will eventually increase to around 75% managerial and 25% clinical duties. There is an incredible amount of progression that can be offered within this role, and the company is renowned for their excellent training and development opportunities. We are looking for a real ‘people person’ who will be able to come in make this role their own. We are welcoming applications from both NHS and Private sector backgrounds.
Requirements
– Qualified Nurse (RGN)
– NMC Registration
– Right to Work in the UK
– Extensive experience working within a Neuro Rehabilitation setting
– Experience managing a team
– Passion for developing others
– Experience in the provision of staff education within Neuro and Spinal care
– ILS Course (or happy to complete this upon hire)
