Overview

Compass Associates is thrilled to collaborate with one of the UK’s most dynamic, independent, family-owned providers of inpatient mental health and elderly care services for older adults. Together, we are currently headhunting a Ward Manager for the Older Adult Mental Health Hospital in Haslemere, which provides care for older male patients, often with a forensic background.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career, ideally suited for an experienced Senior Nurse, Charge Nurse, or Deputy Ward Manager.

As a Ward Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the ward in accordance with legislation, CQC guidelines, and corporate policies. You will lead the service and the wider multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient care while mentoring and supervising junior nurses to maintain the highest standards of care.

Requirements

• Hold a valid NMC registration as a RMN nurse
• A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
• Relevant experience in a similar environment
• Proven track record of leadership skills
• Clear DBS

Location

Situated in Haslemere, the hospital provides excellent connectivity to Guildford, Crawley, Winchester, and Woking. Please note that due to the service’s location and limited public transportation options, you will need to have access to a car.

Interview Process

The interview process consists of 1 stage, conducted in person at the hospital. The interview panel, comprised of the senior management team including the Hospital Manager, will conduct a competency-based interview.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of between £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
• 25 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays
