The hospital provides care to patients on an in-patient and day case basis with 5 operating theatres as well as endoscopy and recovery. They offer a wide range of specialties for both private and NHS patients including orthopaedics, cosmetics, urology and general surgery to name a few.
The RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in acute surgical care with demonstrable leadership and personnel management skills. You will work closely with the Theatre Manager developing excellent working relationships with staff members, consultants and key stakeholders.
You will mainly manage the operational day to day running of the urology and general surgery services however, you may be expected to support in other areas dependant on requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring proactive monitoring and management of all resources available to the department: including operational budgets, workforce planning and efficiency of theatre lists, whilst providing a safe, caring, responsive, effective and well lead department
