Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with an award-winning Private Surgical Hospital, located in Lancaster, who offer a full range of specialities including cardiology, cosmetic aesthetic surgery, ENT, general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and urology. At present, they are looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join their staff in the Theatre department on a full-time basis.

The Candidate

As a Theatre Practitioner you will deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care. You will support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department. It important to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self as well as applying and promoting best evidence-based practice within the scope of practice.

This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hours over a 6-day week, across flexible shift pattern. Various hours between 07:30-21:00 Monday to Friday. Weekends are 1 in 4 – 08:00-18:00 Saturday and occasional Sunday work.

Role Requirements

NMC Registered Nurse (with anaesthetic or recovery qualification) or ODP HCPC registered

ILS

Maths, English GCSE at grades A-C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence

Salary and Benefits

In return, there is a generous salary of up to £36,000 on offer. My client is also offering competitive benefit including:
