Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable care home provider that have a number of services throughout the North of England. They have gone through a phase of growth and improvement recently and are looking to expand their nursing team due to an increase in occupancy within their services.

They have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN OR RMN)to join their large nursing home located in Ellesmere Port to work across both their general nursing unit and EMI dementia unit. The home is rated GOOD in all areas with CQC, has an excellent reputation in the local area and is due to expand with the addition of a brand new unit so this is an exciting time to join.

The Candidate

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high quality personal and clinical care to residents within the service. You will be responsible for supervising the care delivery by both clinical and non-clinical staff members and will work closely with the senior team to ensure CQC standards are exceeded.

This is a permanent position, working 36 hours per week on a rotational basis which includes both days and nights. Shift patterns are 07:45 – 20:00 / 19:45 – 08:00 with paid breaks.

Requirements

NMC registration with no limitations to practice

UK Nursing Experience is essential

2 years post-registration experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Previous experience working in elderly care / care home setting
