Overview:

Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with one of the UK’s leading providers of residential and community family assessments, as well as supported living services for asylum seekers and young people with learning disabilities.

We are working together to find a Social Work Assessor to join their robust Social Worker team at their Family Assessment Centre in Birmingham, in a hybrid role.

You will have the exciting opportunity to manage small caseloads and work passionately alongside these families as you conduct parenting assessments and provide evidence-based reports for child planning and court proceedings.

Location:

This family assessment service is located in Birmingham, and is commutable from Leicester, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Coventry, Northampton, Worcester and Shrewsbury, as well as surrounding towns and villages.

Working Pattern:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid working can be facilitated, dependent on the needs of the assessment centre.

Interview Process:

A simple two stage process, which includes an introductory meeting at the centre, followed by a formal interview stage should you wish to proceed.

Salary and Benefits:

This position pays up to £40,000 per annum, but can be flexible dependent on experience.

Requirements:

Registration with Social Work England

Demonstrable clinical experience
