Overview
Compass Associates is excited to partner with a leading private healthcare provider in the search for a dedicated Sister/Charge Nurse to join their Cancer Nursing team. This purpose-built, multi-specialty facility, in partnership with the NHS, provides high-quality, advanced care across specialties, including cardiology, oncology, and complex surgeries.
In this role, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care, responsive to the needs of patients and their families. Role Responsibilities
– You will be responsible for leading a team of experience SACT nurses and Healthcare Assistants in providing safe, holistic and individualised patient care.
– Oversee complex patient care and collaborate within a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
– Ensure effective, responsive care tailored to the needs of each patient.
Requirements
– Registered nurse with NMC pin
– Extensive experience within the Cancer / Oncology specialty
– SACT competency (essential)
– Currently working as a Band 7 nurse
– Previous management experience / training
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care
