SALARY: £38,500 – £40,000 DOE

ROLE:

  • To work as a competent practitioner and role model in the provision of therapeutic care and treatment to the young people in the service and their families, under the direction of senior nurses, and consultant psychiatrists
  • To demonstrate creativity, thoughtfulness, sensitivity and respect to young people and their families at all times.
  • To ensure that the views and opinions of the young people are actively sought and used to support partnership in the planning and delivery of family centred care.
  • To liaise with families to ensure seamless patient care.
  • To act as associate / keyworker to young people, and to participate in family / review meetings in this role as required.
  • To participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care plans and treatment decision-making processes.
  • To possess adequate knowledge of nursing skills, and to provide a welcoming, safe and friendly environment for all young people and families.
  • To take appropriate responsibility for ensuring the internal and external physical environment is organised and developmentally appropriate.

CANDIDATE REQS/QUALS:

  • RMN or RNLD NMC registered or currently studying at University.
  • Value and respect patients, colleagues and MDT working
  • You will have a commitment to delivering high quality care.
  • Your warmth towards your patients will support them to feel positive about their lives.
