Job Title: Senior Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Lead
Salary: £38,000 – £43,260 per annum (DOE) + car allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Overview:
Compass Associates are excited to be working with a leading charitable adult social care provider, offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Lead to join their Quality Assurance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and implementing PBS strategies across their London services.
As the Senior Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Lead, you will work closely with operational teams, providing training, coaching, and support in the application of Positive Behaviour Support. You will play a vital role in developing PBS plans, conducting functional assessments, and fostering a positive, least-restrictive environment for individuals receiving services.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and monitor individualised Positive Behaviour Support plans.
– Conduct functional assessments to identify the causes of challenging behaviour and design intervention strategies.
– Deliver PBS workshops and group-wide training to service staff.
– Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to enhance staff competence in PBS techniques.
Candidate Requirements:
– Proven experience in developing and implementing PBS strategies within a care or educational setting.
– Management experience in social care or education settings (desirable).
– Strong PBS training, coaching, and communication skills.
– Excellent understanding of PBS, Active Support principles, and relevant legislation.
– Full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
