Overview

Compass Associates are excited to be working with a leading private surgical hospital in Glasgow, on the search for the next MRI Radiographer to join their fantastic team. The imaging department has received a high amount of recent investment; boasting brand new scanners and a new screening room.

This private hospital is a recognised specialist in a range of disciplines. This includes orthopaedics, oncology, cardiology, general and ophthalmology. Their imaging services includes general radiography, fluoroscopy, cardiac catheter labs, ultrasound, MRI and CT.

The Role / Candidate

You will be working as a senior MRI radiographer in the current of Private Hospital of the Year, in its busy and vibrant imaging department. The department has enjoyed a vast amount of recent investment, boasting two MRI scanners, two CT scanners, as well as digital XR equipment.

The department carry out a wide range of scans, ranging from routine to complex – including cardiac MRI and vascular scans. You will be provided the opportunity to train in any areas in which you are not currently skilled, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop advanced skills within MRI.

The Radiology Manager feels strongly about facilitating any CPD or courses that you are keen to undertake. This environment, combined with approachable nature of the manager, is the perfect catalyst for your growth.

You will be an experienced radiography professional with a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience. You will be provided all the tools and support from management, to positively progress in your clinical career.

Minimum Requirements

– DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
– HCPC Registration
– 2 years' post graduate experience
– Experience working in MRI
– Experience using a broad range of imaging systems

There is a salary on offer of up to £45K pa, which is highly dependent upon skills and experience.

Shift Pattern

This is a full time role, with the shift pattern being 3x 12 hour shifts.
