Senior Children’s Registered Manager – Brand New ServiceLocation: Leigh, Greater ManchesterSalary: £65,000 – £73,000 per annum
RemitCompass Associates are working in partnership with a social care provider who specialise in residential step-down services and specialist education for children and young people with complex needs including autism, learning disabilities and mental health issues. They also offer specialist placements to children who may have suffered trauma or who have attachment-based problems.
They are currently in the process of purchasing a property from the local authority in Leigh, Greater Manchester. This will be a 2 bedded step down service providing care to children with high complex needs.
As Senior Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and refurbishment of the service as well as recruiting a brand new staff team as well as working in a strategic and operational capacity working with junior Managers in the running of their services.
RequirementsNVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (full support given)3 years minimum management experience in a similar settingBackground of working with children with autism and/or learning disabilitiesKnowledge of Ofsted standardsStrong people management skills, communicator, team playerClear DBS / CRB
