Senior Care Assistant (Days Only) – Elderly Care Home

£31,200 per annum

Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable care home provider that have a number of services throughout the North of England. They have gone through a phase of growth and are now looking to expand their care teams due to an increase in occupancy.

They are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their small residential home in Chesterfield. The home has an excellent reputation in the local area with long standing staff and a manager who has been in the home for 25 years working her way up from Carer to Manager.

The Candidate

As Senior Care Assistant, you will oversee the home working alongside another Senior Carer and 2 Care Assistants on either the top or the bottom floor. You will have a caring and kind nature with natural empathy and a willingness to help others.

The role is mainly days working 07:45 – 20:00 with paid handover. This will be working between 3 – 4 days per week dependant on your preference. The home has a dedicated medication lead to support as well as a very experienced team and Manager who isn’t afraid to be hands on.

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Essential) though NVQ Level 3 preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Previous experience working in elderly care / care home setting
