Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable care home provider that have a number of services throughout the North of England. They have gone through a phase of growth and improvement recently and are looking to expand their nursing team due to an increase in occupancy within their services.

They currently have an opportunity for an experienced RGN / RMN to join their small nursing home in Sheffield on a permanent basis. The home has general nursing as well as EMI residential on site so previous experience working in the elderly care sector is ideal. The Manager has made huge changes in the home, improving the quality of care provided, developing the home further by investing in facilities and staff and they are now fully occupied with a waiting list!!

The staff team are a fantastic and friendly bunch with a real complimentary skill mix offering the highest standards of care to all residents.

The Candidate

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high quality personal and clinical care to residents within the service. You will be responsible for supervising the care delivery by both clinical and non-clinical staff members and will work closely with the senior team to ensure CQC standards are exceeded.

This is a permanent position, working 49 hours per week, DAYS ONLY, and this is with a shift pattern of 07:30 – 19:45 with paid breaks and handover time.

Requirements

NMC registration with no limitations to practice

UK Nursing Experience is essential

2 years post-registration experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Previous experience working in elderly care / care home setting
