12-hour shifts (rotating pattern)
Up to £68,000 per annum
Two Year Contract
We have been mandated to headhunt a skilled and motivated Resident Doctor ST1+ within acute and general to join an MDT in one of the Midland’s most prestigious hospitals. This role focuses on supporting general wards and day-case areas, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. You will work closely with consultants and nursing teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
You will provide high-quality clinical care to patients in general wards and day-case areas.
Manage and assess acutely unwell patients, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
Conduct clerking, medical assessments, and diagnostic planning for admitted patients.
Support consultants during ward rounds and collaborate on patient care plans.
Respond to emergencies and deteriorating patient situations with confidence and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For
- Medical Qualification: Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Experience: At least two years of post-qualification clinical experience, with a background in General Surgery, Acute Medicine, or equivalent specialities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Previous experience in private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
Location:
This site is based in Birmingham and is easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Coventry, Leicester, Worcester, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding issues.
