Registered Manager – Adult Residential – Learning Disabilities

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience

Benefits: 10% discretionary bonus, competitive annual leave which increases with service, private pension scheme, paid DBS and clear progression through support funded qualifications

Remit

Compass Associates are working with an adult social care provider who have a number of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. The company are passionate about providing exceptional care and support for people with intellectual disabilities creating a warm and inclusive environment where their service users can live a fulfilling and independent life.

They are currently seeking a Registered Manager to join them overseeing their 8 bedded residential service in Stockton-on-Tees and their 1 bedded service which is less than a 5-minute walk away. Both services provide support to residents in all areas of their life to develop their daily living skills.

Requirements

  • Studying for or qualified NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (full support given)
  • Previous experience working as a Manager in a similar setting
  • Background of working with adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Excellent and in-depth knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
  • Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
  • Clear DBS / CRB
