Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary: £37,500 – £42,500

Remit

Compass Associates are partnering with an established Home Care and Domiciliary provider, offering person-centre care to elderly individuals in Walsall and surrounding areas.

Job responsibilities:

  • To provide direction and leadership to the domiciliary care team, ensuring the delivery of client-cantered, high quality care services.
  • Develop and implement organisational policies and procedures in alignment with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage team of care professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular supervision, training, and performance evaluations to enhance staff competencies and ensure highest standards of care.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with the clients, their families and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments ,considering physical, emotional and social aspects and adapt care plans to address evolving needs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their families, actively involving them in the care planning process and addressing any concerns or preferences.
  • Foster a person-centred approach ,promoting dignity, respect, and care services.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain and improve service quality.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, implementing changes to policies and practices as required.
  • Establish effective communication channels with external healthcare providers, social services, and community organisations to enhance overall care coordination.
  • Participate in relevant networks and forums to stay connected with industry trends, fostering partnerships that benefit the organisation and its clients.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be an experienced Registered Manager within Domiciliary care looking for that next step in their career. This individual will be passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and has a proven track record of enhancing business growth. The ideal candidate will be innovative, motivated, and will be able to hit the ground running and will be excited to treat the branch as their own but will have the support of a nationally recognised and well-respected brand.

  • Enthusiastic and passionate about person-centred care
  • Extensive background and knowledge in the Health and Social Care sector
  • Level 5 in Health and Social Care (ongoing or willing to work towards)
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations
  • UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle

Location

The role is based in Walsall, and is commutable from Birmingham, Tamworth, Solihull, Stourbridge, Telford, Wolverhampton. Telford, Cannock, Stafford and Burntwood.
