This is a highly reputable company who are currently working through a change management structure to help the growth of the business and ensure that high quality care is their top priority.
My client is looking to recruit for a Regional Support Manager to cover nursing & residential care home services across Scotland. The role will include supporting, mentoring and managing staff within a care home that is failing in relation to the Care Inspectorate requirements for roughly 3 – 9 months. As well as improving standards and ensuring that the home runs smoothly whilst the company look to bring in a new Home Manager. Once the Turnaround is complete you will be asked to hand over to a permanent Manager and complete their induction.
The role will also rely on Regional Support Managers to support and guide current Home Managers that need extra support. Here, you will act as a Quality/Support Manager within the home and help to improve standards, in line with CI requirements.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a current Peripatetic / Turnaround / Home Manager that wants to join a company that can develop your career and provide good quality care for its residents. The candidate is required to have previous Care Home Management experience with exposure to CI inspections and is currently fully compliant. The perfect candidate will have had experience of going into a failing care home and helping it improve so that they are compliant with CI requirements.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Home Management and will understand how to help other Home Managers and staff to improve/sustain high standards. You will need good relationship management skills and ensure people are cared for in the best way possible.
- Experience working in Care Home Management
- Good relationship management skills
- Exposure to and Compliant with Care Inspectorate
- Passion for the care of elderly people (essential)
- Completed turnaround projects
This role is to cover homes across Scotland. This role is commutable from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk, Ayr and parts of the borders
The interview process will be in a two stage format.
Stage One – Teams/F2F (formal interview): Regional Manager and Quality Director
Stage Two – Teams/F2F (formal interview): Managing Director

In exchange, my client are offering a salary of circa £55,000 per annum plus benefits.
