Salary: £53,600(pro-rata if part-time)

Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday (or part-time) – term time only!

Overview:

Compass Associates is partnering with a specialist education organisation to recruit a Regional Educational Psychologist for their dynamic team. This leading organisation is dedicated to delivering quality education to students aged 5 to 18 years, specifically addressing requirements related to social, emotional, mental health, Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech, language, and communication difficulties, along with cognitive and learning challenges.

As the Educational Psychologist you will be providing support and guidance to children and young people across 9 schools inKent,South London,Birmingham, and Manchester. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, interventions, and providing therapeutic advice to the dedicated teams. You’ll be a key part of the Therapeutic Team working alongside other Therapists and Psychologists,contributing to the development and delivery of training and supporting the educational journey of our young people.

The therapy teams, under the leadership of the Head of SEND, comprises professionals such as Psychologists, Dance and Movement Therapists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, and Speech & Language Therapists.

Essential Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology
  • Valid UK HCPC & BPS Registration
  • Post qualification training in dyslexia/dyscalculia assessment
  • Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
  • Understanding of Ofsted regulations for Independent Schools
  • Understanding of PACE model.

Work Schedule:

  • This position offers flexibility, accommodating both full-time and part-time schedules with core working hours from 9am to 5pm.
  • Within this role, you will have the flexibility to conclude on-site work at 3pm and continue the remaining 2 hours remotely.
