Quality Assurance Business Partner | Homecare, Domiciliary & Live-in Care

Location: South East, England

Salary: £45,000+

Hours: 40 | 8:30/9 – 5/5:30 shift pattern

This role involves driving the quality agenda across the business, ensuring the requirements of their regulators are met and providing support to the teams to ensure continuous improvement in both quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure an annual audit schedule is planned and managed to demonstrate oversight and governance across the region.
  • Provide expert support, guidance and direction on quality and compliance matters in relation to regulations.
  • Meet with the RCD monthly to give an overview of their region with a set agenda.
  • Use intelligence received from audits, branch visits, analytics, and recent events to highlight risk and ensure this is escalated appropriately to ACM/RCD.
  • Create an action plan for any branches that are not performing in line with the regulations or compliance.
  • To ensure that all policies, procedures, and relevant updates are communicated and implemented effectively within the region.
  • Responsible for implementing the quarterly regional training plan, coaching and mentoring sessions.
  • Lead, manage and guide the QAAs.
  • To check and oversee the process of reviewing information sent externally for the purpose of inspections, concerns, responses, PIR etc.
  • Attend monthly meetings with ACM’s/BCM’s with a set agenda – face to face/Teams.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, tenacious, and career driven
  • Extensive background in Quality, Compliance and CQC
  • Have a Level 5 or working towards
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations/changes
  • Previous experience in Quality
  • Diploma in Quality Assurance/Management (or equivalent) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor equivalent – desirable.
  • Experience in writing policies and procedures.
  • Driver able to travel to different locations.
  • Be flexible for the needs of the business and work effectively with team members and on own.
  • Must be energetic, self-motivated, and driven to succeed. The ability to multi-task, prioritize and work at pace are key to this role.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach who can think and act quickly to find creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence and implement change.
  • Ability to build and influence effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to challenge the way things are and find better alternatives.
  • A commitment to the ideals of quality and fairness in the delivery of care.

1st stage, Formal teams chat, competency based questions.

2nd Stage, face-to-face with Hiring Manager and a presentation

Location

The role is based in Southeast area, and is commutable from Luton, Crawley, Guildford, West Sussex, Watford, Kent, Essex and Hampshire.
