Overview:
Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with a leading provider of mental health and complex care across hospital, community, and residential settings. With over 25 years in the healthcare sector, the providers are known for their wholistic care provision, with on-site schools attached to their CAMHS hospitals, enabling the delivery of recovery-focused treatment.
In order to help the service provide specialised and evidence-based treatments that are proven to help tackle the issues faced by its service users, we are working in partnership to headhunt for a Practitioner Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary team on the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The hospital is very much therapy-led, with the supportive MDT including a Head of Therapies, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Art Therapists, and Family Therapists.
Location:
This CAMHS inpatient hospital is located near Telford, and is commutable from Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Leicester, Coventry, Worcester, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton and other surrounding towns and villages.
Criteria:
– HCPC Registered as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist
– Familiarity with mental health
Shift Pattern:
As a full-time Practitioner Psychologist, you will be expected to work an average of 37.5 hours per week: Mon – Fri.
Interview Process:
This will be a one-stage process carried out with the Head of Therapies and a member of the Senior Management Team, and either virtually or face-to-face.
Salary and Benefits:
This Practitioner Psychologist position pays between £50,000 and £56,000 + £5,000 welcome bonus, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes an industry-leading benefit package as follows:
