This leading, expansive healthcare provider are searching for a compassionate Nurse to lead their team within their immigration service based in West Sussex. This healthcare provider offers outstanding healthcare throughout a multitude of services including, Primary and Secondary as well as Health in Justice. This position is great for someone that provides holistic and empathetic care to those within a vulnerable stage in their lives due to the immigration service in the UK. You will the opportunity to work clinically with these patients to continue to provide excellent patient care whilst also leading the team to continue that consistent care throughout the service from the patients’ first 24 hours in the service until they leave.

As a Lead Nurse for this position, whilst having the opportunity to work clinically, you will also be supporting the team operationally. Supporting the Head of Healthcare will be vital to streamlining the service that this provider offers. This could include contribution to audits, governance, KPIs and lead the support team with safeguarding protocols. Due to the experience of managing a team of highly skilled nurses and showcasing what outstanding patient care looks like, you will be able to develop the team which could include leading specific healthcare meetings and also deliver workshops to develop the team to expand on patient care.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • BSc in Nursing with valid NMC registration
  • Experience within a Primary or Secondary care background
  • Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety and QOF
  • Ability to work within a busy environment.
  • Experience with team management.
  • A non-judgemental and compassionate approach


This service is based in Crawley, commutable from Epsom, Croydon, Horsham, Guildford, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead, Cranleigh, Dorking, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Edenbridge.
