Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist – Mental Health Hospital
Salary: £51,500 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM)
Location: London (North) – On-site

Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to be supporting a leading healthcare provider in London in their search for a Practitioner Psychologist to join their highly skilled therapy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hospital that offers both inpatient and outpatient programmes, catering to both adults and children. The role provides the chance to work within a multidisciplinary environment, focusing on complex mood disorders and severe personality disorders.
As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will be part of a supportive team, which includes Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, and Psychologists. You will split your time between the acute ward and outpatient services, providing critical therapy and support to clients transitioning between inpatient and outpatient care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with active HCPC registration.
- A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience in delivering more than one therapy modality (with CBT as a minimum).
- Experience in DBT and EMDR is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in supervising junior staff is beneficial.
- A flexible and professional approach to therapy, with the ability to work effectively with complex and distressed clients.
Salary & Benefits:
