Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading independent provider of mental health services. They have a number of specialist hospitals, residential settings and community-based homes throughout the UK putting the individual at the heart of all aspects of care delivery.
They are currently seeking a Practice Nurse to join their complex mental health hospital in Bradford. The hospitals offers a range of services across a total of five wards which includes both a specialist dementia service and gender-specific distinct rehabilitation and step down services.
The Candidate
As a Physical Health Nurse, you will lead and coordinate on all aspects of physical health needs. You will support your colleagues and assist with education around physical health and will be responsible for monitoring observations and assessments to identify any actions that need to be address and / or documented.
You will work with the residents to ensure they are engaged with the assessments and health promotion and will be responsible for identifying the deterioration of patients within the services.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse Qualification
Phlebotomy Skills
Excellent team working skills
Positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
