Pharmacist Prescriber – Leading Medical Cannabis Organisation

Full time/Permanent position – 37.5 hours per week

£60,000 to £65,000 + Benefits

Remit

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a major medical cannabis provider in their search for a Pharmacist Prescriber to work within their on-site pharmacy based in Reading. The Australian-founded organisation are quickly expanding within the medical cannabis space and well on their way to being synonymous in the industry for their excellent standard of care and attention to detail.

Using their clinical knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical guidance,the successful candidate will be working with patients from their initial eligibility appointments all the way through to the implementation and assessment of care, ensuring that a high standard of treatment is provided throughout. The role-holder will be instrumental in supporting patients with medicines information and pharmaceutical advice as well as prescribing repeat prescription requests. They will be autonomous in their decision making, and will need to effectively manage their workload while further developing the service.

Requirements

– Relevant degree – BSc./MSc. in Pharmacy

– GPhC Registration

– Experience within Primary Care preferred but not essential.

– 1+ years’ experience in Independent Prescribing.

– Passion for high quality care

– Ability to work autonomously and be a decision-maker.

– Motivated individual

– Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

– High sense of personal responsibility

Location

This role will be based in Reading – available to commute from Basingstoke, Wokingham, Frimley, Bracknell and Maidenhead.
