Want to get away from bedside or ward-based nursing, but still want to see and speak to patients daily?

This leading private treatment centre is located in Central London and are currently searching for a passionate nurse to join their team in the Oncology Triage Team. This is a great opportunity as you do not need to be a triage nurse already, full training will be provided!

This role is mainly office-based within the hospital, with some trips into the ward or chemotherapy day unit to speak with patients about their concerns and to provide advice or reassurance.

In the office, you will receive calls from patients and their families; you will be responsible taking note of symptoms/ concerns of relapse and giving advice on the best action to take, whether that be going to A&E or speaking to their GP.

What can you bring?

  • You need to be a registered nurse with an active NMC pin
  • Oncology experience is required
  • Senior / band 6 or 7 nursing experience is also required

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hour week (13 shifts per month); the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their support of the needs of the service. This role will include approximately 4 nights and 1 or 2 weekend shifts per month.

You will receive comprehensive training and be fully supported to deliver excellent patient care.
