Overview

Together, we are looking for a Lead Psychologist to provide specialist psychology to children and adults with Eating Disorders in an in-patient Mental Health setting. Working with those with anorexia, bulimia and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OFSED) you will be instrumental in leading the Psychology Team for this prominent hospital, working with Clinical & Counselling Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists with a common goal.

You will be actively contributing to the delivery and development of clinical services for the patients mentioned above with a view to promote and re-establish independence and psychological wellbeing.

Work Pattern
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, but can be flexible with a 4 day contract if wishing to reduce
Location
Based in the outskirts of Birmingham commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Stafford.

Criteria
– HCPC Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling and Forensic)
– Experience of working within a Mental Health setting
– Passionate in promoting independence for those with Eating Disorders
– Clear DBS

Interview Process
This will be a two-stage process, with the 1st stage with their Hospital Director to detail the organisation and role further

2nd stage will be a face-to-face meeting in the hospital.

Salary and Benefits
The Lead Psychologist role is paying up to £66k per annum depending on experience and qualifications, and includes an industry-leading benefit package:
