We are looking for a Lead Cardiac Physiologist to join a team of highly skilled Physiologists within a Private Hospital, based in the heart of Central London.

This warm and friendly team of Physiologists specialise in a plethora of cardiac physiological investigations. They have the most up to date equipment at their disposal, which enable them to perform a wide range of complex and advanced procedures on Adults.

Due to the reputation in the sector – currently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best consultants in the area.

Who are we looking for?

You will be IBHRE / BHRS / EHRA EP accredited and will completed your BSc in Physiology or similar. Due to the high level of complex scans that the Hospital offer, you will be able to demonstrate your ability as an Invasive Physiologist who has experience with one or all the following

Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Cardiac Catheter Lab intervention and non-invasive

Cardiac Physiology. You will have experience with working alongside Cardiology Consultants, looking after patients undergoing EP procedures.

You will be an autonomous Independent practitioner within EP, competent in the use of conventional EP procedures and a 3D EP mapping system. Due to the role being a lead you will have experience of developing and supporting a team of highly skilled Physiologists. You will report to the Department manager, as the lead clinician for the delivery of a comprehensive Electrophysiology (EP) service you will showcase what excellence looks like to your team. You will be competent using Carto 3D mapping system for simple and complex atrial arrhythmias, SVT and VEs. Also, be able to operate Cryo ablation system to perform atrial arrhythmias.

Alongside your clinical skills you will also have operational duties which include but are not limited to, Rota management, Clinical Governance, Polices and Procedures and SOP’s.

The service is open Monday to Friday, from 08:00am – 08:00pm. You will be working a 5 day week, and be rotated within the on call rota with enhancements. Candidates will be happy to be flexible and have a desire to progress in their career which will be fully supported by my client.
